Our menu is full of amazing dishes that you won’t be able to keep your hands off. We’ve got something for everyone. Whether you’re an all day breakfast kind of person, or you prefer a salad, a good sanga, a burger or some loaded bagels, we have all the fixings for an amazing lunch.
Our salads are delicious if I’m honest. We have the creamy, rich Cobb salad with a smooth dressing and the crumbly bite of blue cheese. With a nod to hygge (the Danish style of cosiness), the wooden decor, splashes of white, draped foliage and warm lighting are part of what makes this cafe so comfortable and welcoming.
Add the cosy little booth seats where you can hide away to have a warm cup of Joe and a chat or a read with your amazing meal and you’ll see part of what gives Poached its charm. Thought and intention have gone into the relaxing playlists, and the mood always feels chilled. I love walking in to the smell of roasted coffee beans and freshly baked bread, being greeted by the welcoming, friendly staff and eating some of the best brunches of my life.

As intentional as Poached are about cosiness, we are even more intentional about our coffee. All our beans have been precisely roasted using the latest scientific research and technology in coffee roasting (you may not know it, but there is a real science to it – look it up!) and have been stored at the exact right temperature.
Our baristas are real masters at their jobs – calibrating the machines daily, grinding the coffee to the perfect consistency based on the batch and beans, pressing the coffee with just the right pressure to get the smoothest flavour and frothing the milk expertly to the precise temperature.

Clean interiors with beautiful minimalist white decor with gold accents and even these amazing trees indoors that are absolutely beautiful. Visually, this place is amazing! There are huge windows, bright lighting and these wonderful comfortable booth seats. There are even turtles here! How cute!
Tang Toh have some great brunch and lunch options including healthy fruit bowls and some really stellar classic Thai options. The real star here though are the cakes. Looking at the patisserie, you could really be forgiven for thinking you’re in a French bakery.
There are some delicious fluffy, rich pastries that are full of flavour with beautiful texture and have been decorated so perfectly you won’t be able to stop yourself from snapping a photo. If you’re a sweet tooth or you love local food in a beautiful setting, this is definitely a spot you might like to visit. Le Croissant de Phuket
While we are on the subject of pastry, Le Croissant de Phuket makes a mean croissant. Perfect layers, buttery and flaky but soft and chewy – oh yeah they do a great job. But they don’t stop there, oh no. They make sandwiches from their croissants! What a winner! With lots of different sandwich options to choose from, you are sure to be satisfied with their great fillings and melty cheese!
If that’s not up your alley, that’s ok – they also have some fantastic Thai food options that are full of flavour and really high quality. If I can’t go to Poached, this is probably second in line for me La Cabana in Chalong. This place serves up Greek food that whisks me right back to the cliffs of Santorini and the beaches of Mykonos. Their gyros are amazing!
I recommend the spanakopita or the baked feta to try. If that’s not your thing, tuck into one of their delicious salads, dips, kebabs and pair it with a game of pool and a smooth glass of red (it’s 5pm somewhere, right?).
